Electrical Installation (Level 2/3)

City & Guilds Apprenticeship with WLT

The Electrical Installation Advanced Apprenticeship (Levels 2 and 3) is comprised of:

• NVQ award in Electrical Installation Level 3 (C&G 2356)
• Technical Certificates Levels 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (C&G 2330)
• Key Skills Certificates: Application of Number, Communication and I.C.T

Training for the Technical Certificates is delivered on a day-release basis at West London Training and is both classroom and workshop based. The Technical Certificate covers all the relevant theory and practical hand skills needed to carry out the work to fulfill the requirements for the NVQ, and is divided into modules including:

• Principles of Electrical Installation
• Installation (Buildings and Structures)
• Electrical Maintenance

Apprentices spend the remainder of the week working with their employers, applying their theory knowledge and putting practical skills into practice.

On successful completion of the Apprenticeship, students will be ‘qualified electricians’ and can apply for their JIB Gold Card.
