The Certificate in Plumbing Studies (C&G 6129, 'Technical Certificate') is the recognised entry-level qualification for the plumbing industry, developed for candidates who are currently working or starting a career in Plumbing Industry. 

The Certificate syllabus covers essential plumbing theory and practical hand skills, divided into ten modules. Training is delivered via a combination of classroom- and workshop-based sessions on a full-time basis over (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm) over approximately 8 weeks. The Certificate may also be undertaken on a day-release basis over 48 weeks.

*If you are currently engaged within the Plumbing industry you may be eligible to undertake the Certificate as part of an Apprenticeship in Plumbing (Level 2), a government funded training scheme for 16 to 65 year olds. Please refer to the Apprenticeship section for more details.
