Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

City & Guilds Apprenticeship in Plumbing with WLT

The Plumbing Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) is intended for plumbers who have already acheieved a Level 2 qualification. It comprises:

• NVQ award in Plumbing Level 3 (C&G 6089)
• Technical Certificate in Plumbing Studies Level 3 (C&G 6129)
• Assessment for Certificates of Competence in:
  • Water Regulations 1999,
  • Unvented Hot Water Supply and
  • ACS Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1 and four appliances)

Training for the Technical Certificate is delivered on a day-release basis at West London Training over approximately 15 months. Apprentices will need work experience or employment under supervision of a CORGI registered engineer to be eligible to undertake the ACS assessment and complete the Apprenticeship.
