Government funded training starting in March
[Friday, December 11, 2009]
WLT Ltd holds a funding contract to deliver work-based training via the Apprenticeship scheme.
We are currently enrolling for our next round of Apprenticeship training courses in Gas, Plumbing and Electrical Installation, which will start between January and March 2010.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship, candidates must be:
- male or female
- employed within the industry of their apprenticeship (minimum 16 hours per week, and paid at least £95 per week)
- aged between 16 and 24 years*
Apprentices spend one day per week training at WLT Ltd in Aldershot, and spend the remainder of the week gaining 'on-the-job' experience under supervision of their employer.
*funding for Apprentices over 25 years of age is currently unavailable. Please contact us to discuss alternative funding and training routes if you or one of your employees may wish to undertake the Apprenticeship training but are over 25 years of age.
