The Apprenticeship is a government-subsidised training initiative comprising the NVQ, Technical Certificate and Key Skills, delivered over approximately 15 months.
Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation
Apprenticeships are government-subsidied training programmes comprising the NVQ (including AM2), the Technical Certificate and Key Skills.
Electrotechnical apprentices usually complete their training within 36 months.

FOUNDATION LEARNING
The City and Guilds (PEO) provide an excellent foundation for entrants into the mechanical services industry.
They are based on national occupational standards, developed to meet the needs of industry and can satisfy the foundation requirement of the
Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship in the electrical and plumbing industries.

GAS COURSES
Gas installation is a popular career choice offering individuals good wages coupled with the added opportunities of overtime and running your own business. There is currently a demand for skilled gas operatives, with major employers estimating a shortfall of 20 000 engineers. By Law, anyone who undertakes gas work on Domestic property in the UK must hold current ACS qualifications and be registered with a registration body approved by the HSE, currently Gas Safe. At WLT we offer a range of Gas training and assessment packages suitable for both new and experienced gas operatives preparing for the ACS Domestic Gas Safety assessments.

shortage of qualified plumbers in the UK. At WLT we offer a range of Plumbing training and assessment packages suitable both for new entrants to the industry and for
experienced plumbers looking to achieve or enhance their formal qualifications.

electrical contracting industry offers diverse career paths, from installation and maintenance to estimating and contract management.

training and assessment packages suitable for both new entrants to the industry and experienced installers looking to enhance or formalise their qualifications.

OIL COURSES
OFTEC Courses for Gas Operatives looking to expand into Oil work, and new entrants We offer oil training courses and
assessments, certified by OFTEC, in: Domestic/Light commercial oil firing commissioning and servicing course - pressure jet appliances (OFT101)
Domestic oil firing system installation course (OFT 105) Advanced domestic and non-domestic oil storage tank installation course (OFT 600a)
The three courses are normally combined and undertaken in four days broken down equally between training and assessment.
The cost of the course includes training, assessment, and certification fees as well as a full OFTEC training/reference pack.

WLT delivers training and assessment for the plumbing, gas and electrical industries at our purpose-developed training centre in Aldershot, Hampshire.
We provide courses and assessment for new entrants, as well as refresher training and renewal assessments for experienced operatives.
