APPRENTICESHIPS
I am not working in the industry / not a permanent UK resident, can I still do an Apprenticeship?
Although you will not be eligible for Apprenticeship funding, you can still undertake the component courses of the apprenticeship (Technical Certificate and NVQ) on a non-apprentice basis. Please contact us to discuss your circumstances and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
I am an employer and would like to know more about taking on an Apprentice.
Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the practicalities and benefits of taking on an apprentice with you.
I have started my apprenticeship training at another centre, can I transfer to WLT?
Yes, provided we have a group at a level suitable for the stage you have reached in your training, we are happy to accept students transferring from other centres/locations.
Aren't Plumbing and Electrical Apprenticeships just for youngsters/males?
No! Anyone, male or female, aged between 16 and 65 years can apply for an Apprenticeship provided they are working in the relevant industry.
